CUCHU Hair Design is a Japanese-owned hair salon that opened in a quiet area on Sukhumvit Soi 26. The salon name “CUCHU” means “hiding place,” “safe place,” or “hugging” in Welsh, and was named after the desire to provide customers with “comfort” along with their desired hair style. The salon is located in a quiet and tranquil environment where you will forget that you are in Bangkok and can relax away from the hectic daily life.

Our salon is staffed by Thai stylists from Japanese-affiliated salons. Counseling is available in Japanese, Thai, and English, so there is no need to worry about language barriers.
Through careful counseling, we will propose hairstyles that match your lifestyle and fashion while incorporating trends.

In addition to regular colorants, CUCHU offers colorants from “Natulique,” an organic brand from Denmark, and “davines,” an Italian brand that uses carefully selected natural materials. If you are concerned about the health of your hair and scalp, or if you are interested in organic or natural hair coloring, please feel free to ask our staff.

Relax your hair and mind with a head spa

CUCHU head spas also use organic and natural products from “Natulique” and “OWAY”. Since these products are “naturally derived” products that are gentle to hair and skin, even naturalists can try them with confidence.
We offer two courses of head spas: “Course to treat hair and scalp” and “Course to improve scalp environment.

About Hair Donation

Please tell me how long my hair needs to be to donate it.

For straight hair, a length of at least 15 centimeters (6 inches) is required; for curly hair, a length of at least 25.4 centimeters (10 inches) is required.

Can I donate my hair even if it’s been dyed?

It’s fine to have your hair colored, but you cannot donate your hair for three months after coloring. If you plan to donate your hair, please wait at least three months after coloring before visiting us.

Please tell me about the donation fees.

ที่ CUCHU มีค่าใช้จ่ายทั้งหมด 2,000 บาท ซึ่งรวมค่าตัดผมและเงินบริจาคให้แก่องค์กร (499 บาท นำไปใช้เป็นค่าใช้จ่ายในการผลิตวิกผม) หากต้องการใบรับรองการสำเร็จหลักสูตรจะต้องชำระเพิ่มอีก 200 บาท

Which organization will the donation go to?
The donation will go to a Thai organization called “from angel foundation.”

Please tell me the steps for donating hair.

• We will cut the section of hair to be donated.
• We will style your hair according to your preferences.
• We will collect your hair and handle all necessary procedures and shipping on your behalf. (Thai customers, please fill out the form yourself and make the donation payment when you visit the salon.)

Is there anything I need to do before coming in for a hair donation?

No special preparation is necessary, but if you wash your hair the day before or on the day of your appointment and come in without any styling products, it will help us finish the shampoo and blow-dry more quickly, making the process go more smoothly.
